Helix Exploration PLC (LSE:HEX) has announced positive flow testing and gas analysis outcomes from the Inez #1 well at its Rudyard Field Project in Montana. The well, perforated across a 55-foot interval in the Lower Souris and Red River formations, returned a helium concentration of 1.2% alongside a flow rate of 1,157 Mcf/d. These results not only expand the company’s production potential but also confirm the commercial viability of the Rudyard Field. Helix is preparing to test the upper Souris River formation, which could further lift flow performance. The success of the acidization program at Inez #1 also points to possible production improvements across other wells in the field, reinforcing Rudyard’s role as a key helium asset.
