Additional Satellite Agreement Expands Customer Relationship
Filtronic (LSE:FTC) has secured a second contract with a U.S.-based satellite communications customer worth approximately $0.5 million, further strengthening its position in the fast-growing satellite connectivity market.
The latest agreement covers the design of a high-frequency module and builds on an earlier $8 million contract announced this year.
Management said the project supports the development of advanced mmWave communications technology designed to deliver high-bandwidth, low-latency connectivity for next-generation satellite applications.
The design phase is expected to contribute revenue during FY2027 and could create opportunities for future production contracts if the programme progresses into commercial deployment.
FY2026 Guidance Upgraded
The company now expects to deliver revenue of at least £55.5 million and adjusted EBITDA of at least £11.1 million for FY2026.
The upgraded outlook places profitability slightly ahead of market expectations and reflects continued operational momentum across the business.
