Amaroq Reports 21,000 Ounces of Gold Output for First Nine Months of 2026

Gold mine

Amaroq Ltd. (LSE:AMRQ) reported gold production of approximately 12,000 ounces in the third quarter of 2026, taking output for the first nine months of the year to around 21,000 ounces.

The Greenland-focused mine developer said improved operational consistency and the commissioning of a flotation recovery circuit allowed it to reach its original fourth-quarter production target one quarter earlier than planned.

Amaroq maintained its full-year 2026 production guidance of between 25,000 and 35,000 ounces of gold.

The company’s principal producing asset is the Nalunaq gold mine in southern Greenland, which it owns outright.

Amaroq to Join FTSE 250

Amaroq also confirmed that it will be included in the FTSE 250 Index from 8 October 2026, following its move from London’s AIM market to the main market.

Management expects FTSE 250 membership to broaden the company’s investor base and increase share liquidity through participation from funds that track the index.

Amaroq’s shares are traded on the London Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Iceland.

Greenland Portfolio

Alongside Nalunaq, Amaroq holds an exploration portfolio covering gold and strategic metals in South and West Greenland. Its exploration targets include copper, nickel, rare earths and other base metals.

The company is also developing mining services and logistics operations through its Suliaq subsidiary. Its Imeq ApS business is developing a private hydroelectric project in Greenland to support its resource development activities.
