Entain (LSE:ENT) maintained its full-year 2026 underlying EBITDA guidance of £910 million to £960 million following the introduction of a provisional ban on online sports betting and gaming in Brazil.
The sports betting and gaming group said it will comply with the new restrictions and now expects its financial performance to be towards the lower end of its previously stated earnings and margin ranges.
Brazil Expected to Account for Around 5% of Online NGR
Before the regulatory change, Brazil had been expected to contribute approximately 5% of Entain’s online net gaming revenue in 2026.
The company said the Brazilian business was expected to make only a modest contribution to underlying EBITDA.
Following the provisional ban, Entain now expects online net gaming revenue growth of between 4% and 6%, including the impact from Brazil.
The group continues to expect full-year underlying EBITDA of between £910 million and £960 million, although its expectations have shifted towards the lower end of the guidance range.
