Domino’s Pizza Group PLC (LSE:DOM) has reported a 3.5% increase in total system sales for the third quarter ended 30 September 2026, alongside 2.3% like-for-like sales growth, as the pizza delivery and takeaway operator maintained its full-year earnings expectations.

Total orders increased by 2.6% during the period, including like-for-like order growth of 1.4%, reflecting increased customer demand across the company’s franchised store network.

Domino’s said trading benefited from demand associated with the FIFA World Cup, with positive sales and order trends continuing through August and September.

The company reported sales growth across its core pizza offering and its CHICK ’N’ DIP product range. Its Italianos pizza range also contributed to trading performance, with management reporting positive customer feedback.

Product development remains part of Domino’s commercial strategy, with the group continuing to expand its menu alongside its established pizza delivery and takeaway services.

On costs, management said major expenditure categories have already been fixed for the remainder of FY2026 and into FY2027, providing greater visibility over the company’s operating cost base.

Domino’s reiterated its expectation of meeting full-year earnings forecasts, supported by third-quarter trading and its existing cost arrangements.

The company also outlined its objective of delivering further earnings growth from FY2027, with its strategy focused on increasing system sales, growing order volumes and managing operating expenditure.

Domino’s operates primarily through a franchised store network in the UK and Ireland, supported by its supply chain and relationships with franchise partners.

The group’s business model combines pizza delivery and takeaway operations with menu development and promotional activity, including campaigns associated with major sporting events.

Looking ahead, management intends to maintain its focus on customer orders, product development and cost management as the company progresses through the final quarter of FY2026.

The group has maintained its existing full-year earnings outlook following the third-quarter trading update, with no revised financial guidance announced.
