European Green Transition (LSE:EGT) has renewed a five-year operations and maintenance contract with Drax covering approximately 94 onshore wind turbines across Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The renewed agreement extends a relationship that began in 2021 and covers a mixed turbine fleet that includes Vestas, Endurance and WTN machines.
European Green Transition said the contract will be delivered through its Earthmill, Silverford and WEP teams.
Contract Extends Through 2031
The five-year renewal provides European Green Transition with contracted recurring income through 2031.
The agreement covers operations and maintenance services across Drax’s portfolio of approximately 94 turbines, with EGT’s teams providing services for the different turbine technologies included in the fleet.
Management said the agreement supports its expectations for the company’s wind services business to generate revenue of £17 million to £18 million in 2026.
Wind Services Platform Covers More Than 900 Turbines
European Green Transition operates in the critical and renewable infrastructure sector and follows a buy-and-build strategy focused on acquiring and expanding service businesses in the UK and Ireland.
Its wind services platform comprises Earthmill, Wind Energy Partnership, Silverford Engineering and Anemos Analytics.
According to the company, the businesses provide operations, maintenance, repair and remote monitoring services for more than 900 onshore wind turbines.
