Synectics (LSE:SNX) expects adjusted EBITDA for the year ending 30 November 2026 to be at the top end of its £3.7 million to £4.1 million guidance range.

The security and surveillance technology company said full-year revenue is expected to be broadly in line with market forecasts, while improved margins contributed to its anticipated EBITDA performance.

Synectics attributed the progress in part to changes implemented under its “5P” strategy, which includes simplifying product deployment, developing its partner management activities and applying greater commercial discipline.

Energy Opportunities Shift Into FY27

The company said some opportunities within its Energy business, particularly in the Middle East, have moved from FY26 into FY27.

Synectics said these opportunities remain active within its pipeline rather than having been cancelled.

The group also reported a backlog of Energy sector work entering FY27 alongside opportunities across other critical security markets.

Management said commercial, product and operational changes intended to support the company’s growth strategy are increasingly being incorporated across the business.

The board said it remains confident in the group’s growth prospects for FY27, based on its existing backlog and pipeline of potential work.
