A.G. BARR (LSE:BAG) reported an 8.5% increase in revenue to £247.4 million for the 26 weeks ended 1 August 2026, supported by its core brands and contributions from Fentimans and Frobishers.

The beverage group said its revenue growth was ahead of the wider soft drinks market during the period.

Adjusted operating margin remained at 15%, while adjusted profit before tax increased 2.6% to £36.1 million.

Statutory profit before tax declined 3.7%, reflecting one-off costs associated with the integration of acquisitions.

Supply Chain Issues Resolved

A.G. BARR said supply chain issues experienced during the summer peak have been resolved.

The group is also progressing manufacturing upgrades at its Cumbernauld and Milton Keynes facilities. The investments are intended to support the insourcing of production and improve manufacturing efficiency.

Fentimans and Frobishers have now been fully integrated into the group following their acquisitions.

A.G. BARR expects cost synergies associated with the acquisitions to contribute during the second half of the financial year.

Full-Year Expectations Maintained

The company maintained its full-year outlook and said it remains on track to meet market expectations.

A.G. BARR continues to develop its portfolio across its core soft drinks business as well as functional beverages and premium drinks.
